A college
newspaper mistakenly identified someone as a sex offender. The guy is suing
back.

Apparently Mississippi does consider
FTR charges as a sex crime. In this case the article implies he lost his
appeal, well not really, he should have done an administrative appeal with the
DOC before going to court; that has not yet been done. So this represents
a state that -by doing this- will cause recidivism rates to be erroneously
overstated in the future. We need to keep close watch for cases such as
this one.
