We have over 80 guys and gals staying at the Matthew Ministries reentry facility. Most of them do not have cars and meeting their transportation needs is becoming difficult. Recently we had to retire our 20 passenger bus. Please pray that God will enable us to replace our bus. We need a 15 passenger van.

Merced County supervisors OK jail realignment proposal - Local - MercedSun-Star.com
Under AB 109, violent sexual predators and high-level sexual offenders would remain under the supervision of state parole. Low-level sex offenders, however, would be monitored by probation officers. Supervisor John Pedrozo asked Ball whether sex offenders would be evaluated under the new system. Ball said the California Department of Corrections performs a risk assessment of each offender before their anticipated release date. Ball said the county will do its own risk assessment when the California Department of Corrections sends an offender's paperwork.

National Call-In Day, October 5th - make the criminal justice system more fair
On Wednesday, October 5, FAMM members will join other national organizations and thousands of people across the country in a National Call-In Day. People across the country will call Senate leadership - Senators Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Mitch McConnell (R-KY) - and ask them to make the criminal justice system more fair, support public safety and reduce costs to taxpayers by passing S. 306, the National Criminal Justice Commission Act.
S. 306 would create a bipartisan commission to review current criminal justice policies and make recommendations for system-wide reform. We believe that any review of the criminal justice system will necessarily include a review (and rejection) of mandatory minimums.
We think that this Commission will help move the ball forward and bring about reform but we need your help to make it happen.
To participate, mark your calendar for October 5. FAMM will send out contact information for Senators Reed and McConnell as well as talking points the morning of October 5. Let’s inundate them with calls!

This website is full of lies and it is so vindictive that it is condemning. This type of mentality is nothing more than a vengeful hate out to destroy other peoples' lives without looking at the facts or circumstances revolving them. This thinking merely causes additional hysteria and fear while dividing society and I promise it won't stop there. This site is a sheep in wools clothing and presents an asinine "solution" to the sex offender concern. She in fact is chastising many low-risk, non-violent offenders for the rest of their lives. Subjected them to no second chance and without hope, giving them a life of hell.
S.O.S. Sex Offender solutions: --"We will also be the first to start a program that will classify sex-offenders and we will color code them based on their offense."
