"RSO's don't need to listen to Lawyers anymore! We are sick of Lawyers stealing our money and doing nothing for us! Two things I remember vividly with the Nancy Forster talk. When asked whether or not be she thinks there will be abolishment of either a Federal Registration or that the lists will not be public, she says No to both. But isn't that the ultimate winning battle, I kindly ask? She also said that she is not in it for the money or doesn't expect to make money or something like that but then she mentions a pay day in the end. Lawyers are full of greed and could care less about causes! Lawyers won't touch RSO cases because they are afraid of wrecking their reputations, same as Judges and Politicians. Any idiot knows that RSO's reputations are ruined and Vigilante justice is prevailing. How about bringing up the fact the RSO Suicide Rate is 80% above the National average. So most Sex Offenders are actually dead before the trial begins or before the end of their Sentences! And others simply cannot face life anymore.. In Lake County Florida recently a very young man and RSO took his own life when the neighborhood watch committee plastered signs on his street pointing to "a sex offender living at this address". In Daytona Beach the Mayor told all Offenders living in the City Limits to "get out! "I don't care if they move to the Ocean, but they are not going to live in my City, he screamed!  RSO's need a Advocacy Group where they can come together to help each other in need. Society and the Media make us feel like monsters that must hide and never be heard from again!

Personal note: When you read about these men... see the age when convicted and the age difference of most are not more than six years. The make brain has not begun to reason until the age of 25. "A ballgame turned out to be anything but fun and games for a registered sex offender Friday.

Lt. David Marler of the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher William Patrick, 27, of Alabama Avenue in Marion at Maple Leaf sports complex and charged him with a felony sex offender law violation (being in an area where children gather).

Capt. Ricky Crisp said Marler received information from an anonymous caller that Patrick was at the ballpark, watching his son play.

The lieutenant went to Maple Leaf, found Patrick and arrested him there at 6:15 p.m.
Patrick was convicted in McDowell County in January 2004 of two counts of taking indecent liberties with a child. He was sentenced to one year and eight months in prison followed by 3 ½ years on probation.

Crisp stated that Maple Leaf is considered a county park and, by law, registered sex offenders aren’t allowed there because it’s a place children frequent."
